MR Driver / Storeperson – $41.20 per hour | Newcastle Area

We are seeking an experienced MR Driver / Storeperson to join our client’s team in the Newcastle area.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll split your time between MR driving, deliveries, and storeperson duties. We are looking for someone who is confident in both areas, enjoys variety, and is happy to support the team wherever needed.

What’s on Offer

• $41.20 per hour + Super - Weekly pay cycle
  
• Monday to Friday role with a standard 38-hour week
  
• Choose your preferred shift:
  
  
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
    
  • 8:00am – 4:00pm
    
• A varied role combining driving, deliveries, and warehouse responsibilities
  
• A supportive team environment where no two days are the same
  

The Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road but also likes staying active and hands-on in a warehouse environment.

Your day will be split between:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries of construction products across Newcastle
  
• Driving an 8-tonne automatic MR flatbed truck
  
• Safely loading, securing, and unloading products
  
• Returning to site to complete storeperson duties once deliveries are finished
  
• Operating a forklift and assisting with stock and stores management
  
• Supporting general warehouse and yard operations
  
• Providing professional customer service and representing the business positively
  

About You

You’ll be a reliable, team-focused person who is comfortable working across both MR driving and storeperson responsibilities.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current MR Driver Licence (essential)
  
• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
  
• Current White Card (essential)
  
• Good driving history and strong safety awareness
  
• Recent experience completing deliveries and multi-drop runs
  
• Experience with flatbed trucks preferred
  
• Confidence operating a Forklift, with recent experience
  
• A positive attitude and willingness to be hands-on and support the wider team
